Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Ari Mare uses cookies and similar technologies on arimare.com, what they do, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle your personal information more broadly.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device when you visit. They let a site remember things between pages and between visits — what is in your cart, whether you are signed in, which size you were looking at. We also use related technologies such as pixels, tags, and browser local storage. For simplicity we call all of them cookies on this page.

Cookies set by arimare.com are first-party cookies. Cookies set by companies we work with, such as our ecommerce platform, our apps, and our advertising partners, are third-party cookies.

The cookies we use

We sort cookies into four categories. These are the same four you will see if you open cookie preferences on our site.

Required. These keep the store working. They handle things like remembering what is in your cart, keeping you signed in, routing you to the right region and currency, and protecting against fraud. The site cannot function without them, so they cannot be switched off.

Personalization. These remember your choices so your next visit picks up where you left off, such as recently viewed pieces, saved wishlist items, and your preferred language or currency.

Marketing. These help us and our partners show you Ari Mare pieces on other websites and social platforms, and measure whether those ads actually led anywhere.

Analytics. These tell us how people find and move through the store, which pages get read, and where people drop off. We look at this in aggregate to decide what to improve.

Who sets cookies on our site

Our store runs on Shopify, which sets the required cookies behind your cart, checkout, and account, and may set analytics or marketing cookies where you have allowed them.

We also use third-party apps and services that may set their own cookies. These currently include tools for product reviews and ratings, wishlists, social media and shoppable content feeds, on-site search and site speed, forms and email sign-ups, and pricing and merchandising. Each provider handles the data it collects under its own privacy policy.

How long cookies last

Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them, which can be anywhere from a few days to about a year depending on what the cookie is for.

Your choices

On our site. Where we show a cookie banner, you can accept all, decline all, or open Manage preferences to turn Personalization, Marketing, and Analytics on or off individually. You can reopen preferences and change your mind at any time.

In your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking required cookies will break parts of the store, including the cart and checkout.

Global Privacy Control. If you browse with GPC enabled, we treat that as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising, where the law where you live recognizes that signal.

US state privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of your personal information. You can exercise that right on our Your Privacy Choices page.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is still no shared standard for how websites should respond to it, so we do not currently act on it. We do honor Global Privacy Control as described above.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page whenever our cookie practices change, and we will revise the date at the top when we do.
